Web2: Everyone hearts math

Index page

Build a web page for displaying your work to the class. Name your page index.html so that it will be linked properly from the front page of the class website. Your page should be clear and well-considered in its layout. Include the following information on this page…

  1. Name and email link.
  2. Why are you taking this course? What prior experience do you have in designing for the web?
  3. Select two projects from the web you consider to be interesting. One should be a dynamically-generated web site. List each project with its title, URL, one or more small “thumbnail” images, and two to three sentences describing the project and why it is especially remarkable.

Everyone Hearts Math

Create a dynamic web page that performs a math story problem. You should use variables in the actual problem, declaring their values at the top, and using print() or echo() to reveal the final answer(s). Check to make sure you’ve got all your semicolons (;) and there are no typos or you will get errors. This is the beginning of one of many assignments where you get to flex your design muscles.

Due: Sept 21
